The Vigil waterwall nozzle is designed to quickly and easily create a safety barrier of water to offer protection against heat, sparks, smoke and gases. Not only does it work by stopping the spread of fire, it establishes a safe area for firefighters to remain in while they continue to fight the fire. Spraying water at a height of 7 metres and a width of 26 metres, it creates in impressive water curtain.

The water shield nozzle works by having an aluminium plate with streaks etched into a fan shape which causes the water to spray out at 180° to create the water curtain barrier. The waterwall nozzle can then be left in position unmanned but is lightweight with a handle for easy stabilisation when required.

Manufactured for Vigil Products of aluminium with a stainless-steel plate, the hydroshield fire nozzles are suitable for use in a wide diversity of industries including fire and rescue services, aviation, petrochemical and other large industries, but are particularly popular within the marine trade. With an integral 2 ½" instantaneous alloy male inlet (BS 336) for standard UK hoses, the waterwall nozzle has a maximum flow rate of 500 litres per minute and working pressure of 10 bar.
