A Premium Plasterboard Fire Rated Access Panel which promises not to stand out as an eyesore in your wall or ceiling, it also comes with draft seals and has a fire rating of 2 hours in walls, and 1 hour in ceilings. They are also a favourite amongst architects because the deep tray adds stability and minimises cracking.

Unlike other plasterboard access panels, this is also reinforced around the lock area, which is often the first part of the panel to become damaged. You also have the option to choose your locking option. The black T key comes as standard, or you can choose the Radial Pin Tumbler (RPT) option. Other locks are also available on request.

On top of that, the keyhole is hidden thanks to a spring-loaded mechanism which hides it when not in use. That means there are no unsightly holes to give the game away.

Once installed, plastered and painted, the Premium Plasterboard Access Panel blends with the surrounding area, which also helps it to disappear into the surface. In the wall version, the plasterboard has a thickness of 24mm, while the ceiling version ranges between 50 and 95mm, depending on the aperture size.
