Enabling you to legally and safely hold a fire door in the open position, the Acoustic Battery Operated Door Holder will then release the door as soon as your fire alarm sounds. Using magnetic technology, you install the main unit to a wall, bracket, or another solid surface, with a plate screwed onto the door. With wireless installation, it’s quick and easy to fix onto a new or existing fire door.

To reduce false activations caused by loud sounds, as can happen with other systems, the magnetic door holder learns the specific sound of your fire alarm for increased reliability. Powered by two C-type batteries, it has a 200 Newton holding force which is suitable for use on doors of up to 100kg in weight and 1250mm wide.

With a daily timed release option ideal for ensuring the doors are shut overnight, it features a manual release button, LED display, and low battery warning.
