Using a patented and groundbreaking substance, which is also eco-friendly, Firexo extinguishers are the first of their kind to receive full BSI approval to EN3 and the British Kitemark. Plus, they have UKCA approval and are CE Marked.

What Fires Are The Firexo Extinguisher Suitable For?

The All Fires extinguisher really does cover all fires. Not only will this cover Class A (woods, paper, etc), Class B (flammable liquids, including petrol and paint), Class C (flammable gases, for instance, butane and methane), Class D (flammable metals such as Magnesium, Sodium, Titanium, Potassium, etc), and Class F (cooking fats and oil), it is suitable for electrical fires (tested on electricals up to 35 kV) and lithium-ion batteries too.

On top of this, the Firexo extinguishers have higher fire ratings and longer discharge times, meaning you have plenty of firepower in the event of an emergency. Plus, the extinguishers operate in temperatures extremes of -15°C to +60°C, meaning you can rely on them in all British weather, no matter where it is stored.

Where Should I Have The All Fires Extinguishers?

In businesses, you should have fire extinguishers at emergency exit routes, located to ensure no one has to travel far to their nearest unit. They’re used to extinguish a fire in the early stages or to help during an evacuation. However, these should also be located near specific fire risks, usually as stated in fire assessments, which may be in a kitchen and by at-risk materials or machinery.

The Firexo fire extinguishers are also suitable to have in vehicles and mean you are prepared for any eventuality while out travelling. And in your home, these will prepare you for any fire you may encounter, whether it’s a lithium battery in a device, a cooking mishap or a DIY disaster.

Is The Firexo All Fires Extinguisher Safe?

You can rest assured that the Firexo extinguisher range has been tested to ensure there is no risk to the health of people or the environment. The extinguishant inside is eco-friendly and biodegradable, with the main active ingredients including ammonium sulfate, water, and nitrogen which act as a fertiliser to aid in plant growth. If used inside, it is easy to wipe down areas with warm soapy water to remove the residue.

Additionally, they are completely free from harmful PFOA and PFAS chemicals.

Does My Firexo All Fires Extinguisher Need Servicing?

As with all of our other fire extinguishers in commercial properties, the Firexo All Fires Extinguisher range should be commissioned and then serviced annually to fully comply with BS 5306 and to keep your insurance company happy too.
