The Fire-Rated Meter Overbox is a great solution for keeping your electrical meters well protected. Built from a 2mm galvanised steel, and featuring stainless steel locks and hinge, this will keep any would-be vandals out.

They also have a 60-minute fire rating, which means the contents will remain protected from any fire. It achieves this with intumescent seals which not only go around the door frame but also the back of the box as well. 

This overbox is easy to fit onto your meter box. Simply fit this using the supplied holes to the inside of the meter cupboard, this can fit over an old or new meter door.

With four different standard sizes available, you should have no problem finding one to fit. When choosing your size, please note the dimensions refer to the size of the metre box of which it fits over.
