Designed to provide easy access to ensure your premises are compliant with the Equality Act, the Conquest fire door holder does just that. Holding open a fire door, it can be used in conjunction with any fire alarm system to ensure the door, when fitted with a standard door closer, automatically closes when the alarm is triggered. This then ensures the fire door can do its job in the event of a fire, preventing the spread of fire to reduce damage and potentially save lives.

Fitting the door holder to a wall or floor-mounted bracket, and a keeper plate to the back of the door, it’s held open using electromagnets with a 200N holding force. When the alarm is activated, the power is cut to allow the fire door to immediately shut thanks to the spring-loaded pin ensuring zero residual holding force.

Available to suit 24Vdc or 230 Vac supply voltages (select the version to suit your needs), the fire door holder is commonly used in public access areas including hospitals, cinemas, airports, offices, hotels, nursing homes and schools. Compliant with EN1155 and CE marked, the Conquest fire door holder from Geofire is supplied with a surface mount box with 20mm knockouts, or can be flush mounted.
