Not only do these Fire Rated Loft Hatches have a one-hour fire rating, they are also insulated and air tight, meaning no loss of heat on chilly draughts. It also complies with all building regulations and is almost invisible when installed in a white ceiling, or painted to match.

Designed for centre trusses of 600 cm, it can accommodate standard loft ladders, but also looks much better than the timber or plastic alternatives. Once painted the same colour as the ceiling, it won’t become an eyesore at the top of your stairs.

With aesthetics in mind, it also features a patented spring loaded invisible keyhole. This covers unsightly holes until you need to use them. Supplied with a black T key as standard, you can also purchase your fire rated loft hatch fitted with a Radial Pin Tumbler (RPT) lock.

If your ceiling is already decorated, the picture frame loft hatch will retrofit without additional work needed. However, the beaded frame option allows you to hide the surround under plaster, meaning it is even less visible once simply plastered over.
