Fire Door Holders

Rather than wedging your fire doors open, or even worse, using a fire extinguisher, install a fire door holder as a legal, safe and easy alternative. 

Commonly found in schools, care homes, hospitals, and many other public buildings, fire door holders enable you to keep a door open for ease of access and ventilation but will ensure the fire door is shut in the event of an actual fire to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

Usually activated by the sound of your fire alarm, unless it’s hardwired to the alarm itself, the holder will release the door to enable it to close when fitted with a door closer. In fact, we also have electromagnetic door closers which double-up as door holders, requiring the installation of just one device to do two different jobs.
