The 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket is the perfect choice to extinguish small flames in your kitchen and is often found in small commercial kitchens, workplace kitchens, workshops and in your home. The 1.2m x 1.2m fire blanket works by smothering the fire and cutting out oxygen so it can burn itself out and prevent the fire from spreading. Special Note: Beware of cheap, untested fire blankets sold on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. They often state "C E Standard: 1869-1997" near the top and "Made in P.R.C." near the bottom. Some of these may burn through or actually catch fire when used.
