Supplied fully assembled, the fire-rated loft ladder and hatch requires no headroom or storage space in the loft, designed to withstand fire for up to 30 minutes. Fitted with a continuous 23mm seal to keep draughts out and 60mm insulted white trapdoor, it has a tested U-Value of 0.67W/m2K for greater insulation and reduced heat loss.

Suitable for properties with more than 3 floors or for passive houses that require a fire-rated loft ladder, it simply fits into the loft aperture between timbers. Produced using renewable energy and the finest PEFC sustainable-source timbers, the wooden ladder uses Nordic Spruce treads connect to the stiles using craftsman’s dovetail joints to provide a strong, robust ladder suitable for regular climbing.

Complying to EN 14975, EN 1368 & EN 1634, the double counterbalanced trap door allows smooth fingertip control incorporating an integrated twin action lock to ensure the tightest fitting. Plus, the loft ladder includes a handrail for added safety, slip-resistant feel for extra security, and a metal locking key.

Designed to simply fit into an aperture measuring 1200 x 600mm, simply requiring final installation tweaks, the loft ladder is suitable for a maximum floor to ceiling distance of 2750mm, requiring a swing clearance of 550mm.
