Our intumescent telescopic letterbox systems are fire and smoke-rated for 30 minutes and are very popular in multiple occupancy residences. The two sizes are 272mm x 70mm (residential) and 306mm x 70mm (commercial) and both will fit doors from 40mm to 65mm thick.
Each letterbox system has an intumescent liner fitted around the telescopic sleeve section. In the event of a fire, the intumescent liner expands to seal the letterbox and keep the integrity of the fire door.
The letter plate is available in polished brass, polished chrome, satin aluminium or stainless steel and is tested to be fitted up to 1050mm from the floor. The colour of the surround may differ from the images shown.
