As an employer, you are required by law to display the HSE Health & Safety Law poster. With A2 and A3 versions available, it tells workers in simple terms what they and their employers need to do using numbered lists of basic points. Under the Health and Safety Information for Employees Regulations (HSIER), all employers (even if they only employ one other person) are required to display the poster in a prominent location on all business premises. In 2009, the HSE introduced an updated, simpler version of the Health & Safety Law poster, with all workplaces needing to display the new version by April 2014. If you’re still displaying the old version, then you must replace it as soon as possible, so ensure your poster looks like this one.
