A legal alternative to wedging a fire door open, the Electromagnetic Fire Door Holder will keep the door open for access and will shut when needed. Fire doors reduce the spread of fire to prevent damage and risk to life, but will only work when shut. This ensures that the fire door is closed as soon as the fire alarm is activated, as the power to the door holder is cut.
