With the 6 Litre Alcohol Resistant Foam Fire Extinguisher, you’ll be able to safely tackle a fire even where alcohols, polar solvents, and other flammable liquids are a risk. The cartridge-operated extinguisher works by creating a protective layer on top of the fuel to seal and suppress the vapour, enabling the foam to reduce the oxygen to fuel and have a cooling effect.
Suitable for high-risk areas such as airports, heliports, refineries, pharmaceutical plants and other process areas.
Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc) and Class B (flammable liquids). Tested to 35kV, meaning it’s safe if inadvertently used on live electrical equipment.
Anticipated lifespan with indoor use and proper maintenance - up to 10 years.
