How To Use Your Launcher Fire Extinguisher
When you discover a fire first, simply use the 9kg launcher fire extinguisher as you would any other. Aim the nozzle at the fire and squeeze the handle to operate. However, it’s also the first fire extinguisher of its kind in the world which can also tackle a fire when no one is around.
With two heat sensors providing guaranteed performance, it will automatically activate when temperatures reach 68°C. The powder is then extinguished out of one or both of the side valves depending on which sensor(s) is triggered, to then provide coverage for a 9.29 m2 area and extinguishing fires nearby.
It is also capable of taking over the firefighting if the flames become too big to handle so you’re able to get yourself to safety. The firefighter can launch the 9kg powder fire extinguisher towards the flames, where it will then activate and turn into a suppression system.
Suitable for high-risk areas unoccupied overnight and at weekends, including workshops, industrial units, building sites and flammable liquid stores.
Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc), B (flammable liquids), C (flammable gas) and safe around live electrical equipment.
