How To Use Your Launcher Fire Extinguisher
When you’re around, it’s easy to aim the hose at the flames and squeeze the handle to activate, as you would with an ordinary powder fire extinguisher. But what happens at the evenings and weekends when no one is around?
Fitted with two heat sensors for guaranteed performance, this is where the launcher fire extinguisher reaches a brand-new level. Automatically activating the fire extinguisher when temperatures rise above 68°C, the 6kg powder extinguisher is then sprayed out of one or both of the side valves, depending on the location of the fire, providing coverage for a 5.88 m2 area.
The launcher extinguisher is also the world’s first fire extinguisher which will take over firefighting should the flames get too big to handle. Allowing you to escape to safety, in the event of a large fire, the firefighter can launch it in the direction of the flames. This will then activate the 24-Hour powder fire extinguisher, turning it into a portable suppression system.
Suitable for high-risk areas unoccupied overnight and at weekends, including workshops, industrial units, building sites and flammable liquid stores.
