The gun-grade Blue 60 Fire Rated Frame Foam gives up to 60 minutes of fire protection to single and double door sets, without the need for additional mastics and sealants.
The expanding foam is specially formulated for use with the Blue 60 Fire Rated Packers (sold separately) and ensures the fire resistance of a wall is maintained where doors are installed.
Free of CFCs and H-CFCs so it is completely harmless to the ozone layer, the polyurethane foam is an efficient seal against smoke and gas, and is fire rated up to 60 minutes is accordance with EN 1634-1 & BS476-22. Tested in both metal and timber stud partitioning, with gaps between 7mm and 30mm, it is also acoustically tested up to 43dB (depending on the door density) and is suitable for retro-fit scenarios.
The 750ml Blue 60 fire-rated frame foam offers excellent adhesion to most substrates with no shrinkage, and is suitable for cutting, trimming and painting once cured.
