Additionally, the integrated valve opens up the water supply as the reel begins to rotate – which saves vital seconds when you don’t need to turn a tap on – and then closes again as you return the hose to the reel.

With the fire hose having a 30 metre length, you can protect a large area against the threat of a Class A fire. The swinging automatic fire hose reel also benefits from having the hose and the jet/spray nozzle already fitted, meaning you just have to mount this to the wall and connect to the water supply. With the wall mounting bracket, flexible inlet pipe and gate valves all included, even that will be a breeze.

Part of the Vigil Products range, the automatic fire hose reel is certified to EN 671-1 with LPCB approval and is manufactured of UV-resistant powder-coated steel and brass to ensure durability. The fire hose tubing is compliant with EN 394 with a working pressure of 12 bar and has a rubber/PVC blended construction which ensures a long working life.
