In the modern world, a Honeywell 2040WE fire and water media chest is a must for every business as it provides an amazing UL Certified (will keep interior below 51,5ºC during a fire up to 926ºC for 1 hour) 60 minute fire protection for digital tapes, floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, USB drives, memory sticks, DAT tapes and the like. The additional waterproof seal prevents water damage.

Our version even has wheels to move it around easily - beware of those that do not include the wheels. The Honeywell 2040 fire chest has a five year warranty and all Honeywell safes have a lifetime after-fire replacement guarantee. It is light grey and has two keys for security.

Note - we use one of these to prtect our own data backup tapes in our office and it is great
