Fire Log Book: Keep Your Records and Keep Legal

All premises must have a Fire Log Book, in which is recorded all fire safety maintenance and other activity. Should the Fire Officer come calling, fire log books are the first things he will want to see, and you or your responsible person must be able to produce it.

The good news is that our simple to use A4 fire log book enables you to accurately log all your building's fire safety procedures, inspections and maintenance activity. This book also gives details of the current regulations on fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting fire doors, fire drills and training, and visits by your Fire Officer.

Of course, an accurate log of your fire prevention, maintenance and provision, plus that all-important fire risk assessment, is absolutely no use if you can't locate it quickly when you need to! The solution is a fire document holder, which can hang next to your main fire prevention controls, in reception, or any place where it is both visible and accessible. The Fire Protection Online document holder is made from red textile material that easily wipes clean, and can be hung from a single hook for easy retrieval when the Fire Officer calls.

For larger premises, your fire records may run to an A4 ring binder, so you will require a larger cabinet for your fire documents. The fire document cabinet is a lockable metal cabinet with a tamper evident door seal, so you'll know if anyone has tried to access the documents without your knowledge. Just make sure you remember where you put the key, though!
