Our UK specification 64mm fire hose (2.5" layflat) comes complete with wired-on alloy couplings and is supplied in length of 23 metres (75 feet) or 18 metres (60 feet). This meets both the type 1 and type 2 requirements of BS 6391: 1983 but the type 2 polyurethane outer coating makes for extra abrasion resistance. The couplings are UK Fire Service standard fittings

This hose can be supplied with gunmetal or plastic couplings and in other diameters and lengths - details on request. If you need a hose for marine, petrochemical or constant use, the Type 3 will be better for you.
