Sometimes, it's all too easy to overlook essential items of fire safety equipment that don't actually put out fires. However, not only are they useful in an emergency, but in the case of our document holders and files, they are a legal requirement too.

Fire Log Book: Keep Your Records and Keep Legal

All premises must have a Fire Log Book, in which is recorded all fire safety maintenance and other activity. Should the Fire Officer come calling, this is the first thing he will want to see, and you or your responsible person must be able to produce it.

The good news is that our simple to use A4 fire log book enables you to accurately log all your building's fire safety procedures, inspections and maintenance activity. This book also gives details of the current regulations on fire extinguishers, alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting fire doors, fire drills and training, and visits by your Fire Officer.

Of course, an accurate log of your fire prevention, maintenance and provision, plus that all-important fire risk assessment, is absolutely no use if you can't locate it quickly when you need to! The solution is a fire document holder, which can hang next to your main fire prevention controls, in reception, or any place where it is both visible and accessible. For larger premises, your fire records may run to an A4 ring binder, so you will require a larger cabinet for your fire documents.
