The heat alarm in this bundle is ideal for installing in a kitchen or garage, as it is unaffected by cooking fumes. Class A1 certified, the alarm only activates when temperatures reach between 54°C and 65°C. This heat alarm comes fitted with a 10-year sealed lithium battery.
The X-Sense smoke alarms have a photoelectric sensor, which reduces the likelihood of false alarms. Plus, they are internally fitted with mesh protection to stop spiders and insects from taking up residence. Included with the smoke alarms is a replaceable 3V CR123A lithium battery.
Both the heat and smoke alarms are individually tested and can be interlinked to all the alarms in your home, so when one sounds its 85-decibel alarm, the others will too. For added flexibility, this bundle can be linked up with the Home Hub (sold separately), which allows you to control your smoke and heat alarms from your smartphone, giving you full control over your household alarms.
