The X-Sense ProConnected wireless optical smoke alarm is part of a leading range of affordable alarms which allow you to have complete control of the alarms in your home at your fingertips. Best installed in your living room, bedrooms, hallways and landings, you can then link up to 23 other devices in your home to ensure the family is protected no matter where they are. When one device detects an issue, all of the alarms in your home will sound their 85 Decibel alarm to alert you of a potential emergency. When you connect a home hub, you’ll also receive push notifications to your phone through the X-Sense Home Security app.

With a stylish finish and compact design, the wireless smoke alarm is also UKCA-approved, CE marked and fully compliant with EN 14604:2005+AC:2008. With a photoelectric sensor which reduces the likelihood of false alarms caused by steam, the mesh protection inside also stops spiders and insects from making their home inside. Plus, each sensor is tested, unlike some others which are batch tested, giving you greater peace of mind.

With a replaceable lithium battery included and the ability to interconnect wirelessly, the X-Sense ProConnected smoke alarm is easy to install without the need for an electrician and is supplied with everything you need to get started. Once the mounting plate is centrally fixed to the ceiling using the supplied fixings, you then just twist the alarm to secure it in position.

Supplied with simple instructions for connecting the wireless smoke alarm, you could link this to other X-Sense smoke, heat and CO alarms around your home, and even the Home Hub for the ability to control devices using the app. When using the app, you can give each device a unique name, test alarms remotely, receive push notifications when an alarm is activated and monitor your home from anywhere.

Manufactured by X-Sense with a 5-year warranty, the wireless optical smoke alarm measures 78mm wide and 48mm deep. Featuring a red LED indicator on the side which flashes when activated, it is easy to control your alarm as this is also your button for silencing and testing the alarm.

Please Note: This smoke alarm can only be connected to other alarms in the X-Sense Link+Pro range. The Home Hub is only required if you wish to control the alarms using the app; these alarms can be wirelessly interconnected using RF technology without the base station.
