Add the X-Sense ProConnected wireless heat alarm to your smart home as a reliable method of detecting fires in the kitchen or garage. Compliant with BS 5446-2:2003, the X-Sense heat alarm is also CE Marked and UKCA-approved. Class A1 certified, this means your kitchen heat alarm activates when the temperature reaches between 54°C and 65°C and isn’t affected by cooking fumes, dust and fumes which may otherwise cause false alerts. Plus, each sensor is tested, unlike some others which are batch tested, giving you greater peace of mind.

Fitted with a sealed long-life battery, this ensures the battery cannot be removed or tampered with so you know you’re protected and has a lifespan of between 7 to 10 years, depending on whether you connect it to the smart home hub. The X-Sense ProConnected heat alarm is easy to install without the need for an electrician and is supplied with everything you need to get this installed. Once the mounting plate is centrally fixed to the ceiling using the supplied fixings, you then just twist the alarm to secure it in position.

Supplied with simple instructions for connecting the wireless heat alarm, you could link this other X-Sense smoke, heat and CO alarms around your home, and even the Home Hub for the ability to control devices using the app. When using the app, you can give each device a unique name, test alarms remotely, receive push notifications when an alarm is activated and monitor your home from anywhere.

Manufactured by X-Sense with a 5-year warranty, the wireless heat alarm measures 111mm wide and 44mm deep. Featuring an LED indicator in the centre which flashes when activated, it is easy to control your alarm as this is also your button for silencing and testing the alarm.

Please Note: This heat alarm can only be connected to other alarms in the X-Sense ProConnected range. The Home Hub is only required if you wish to control the alarms using the app; these alarms can be wirelessly interconnected using RF technology without the base station.
