The smallest and easiest of its kind, the Cavius Wireless Battery Heat Alarm is ideal for the kitchen and can connect it with up to 32 devices through your home using wireless technology. Supplied with a replaceable 5-year lithium battery and benefiting from a 30-day low battery warning, it features an LED indicator light and a hush/test button for silencing false alarms and testing its working condition. Designed to work as an individual unit or as part of a connected system, when one of these small units detects a threat, all connected units will raise the alarm in unison with their 85-decibel alarm. Activating when temperatures reach 58°C and above, it’s ideal for locations which can be smoky, dusty or humid in order to reduce false alarms. EN 60065:2002 approved and 100% tested, the Cavius wireless heat alarm is the easiest currently on the market to connect, as well as being the smallest. Cavius Mounting OptionsOur Cavius range of alarms is now available with different mounting options. As standard, they’re supplied with screws and raw plugs for installation. Our adhesive mounting kits make it easy and convenient to install your new alarm, including a double-coated 3M tape, you can now easily stick these to these to a flat ceiling. Boasting excellent long-term holding power, they’re ideal for homes, caravans and boats, it’s suitable for vinyl wallpaper, polystyrene, non-stick and Silicon coatings. Alternatively, our recessed kits substitute the standard ceiling base, allowing for most of the alarm to be recessed into the alarm, making these tiny alarms seem even smaller. And best of all, these bases are the first of its kind to have been certified and pass the Fireroom test, and are easily accessed by simply turning the alarm. Heat alarms are suitable for kitchens and garages or dusty areas such as a loft - a house should have a combination of optical and ionisation alarms. Do not use in hallway, bedrooms or landing. Other wireless Cavius devices which can be linked include a smoke alarm, flood alarm, smart remote, and the mains powered smoke alarm, which together won the 2016 reddot award.
