The Standpipe Base Washer inserts into the threaded inlet of your standpipe – where it connects to an underground hydrant – to create a tight seal. Where standpipes are used regularly, washers begin to perish over time which can then lead to a loss of water pressure as water begins to leak around the connection.
With an outside diameter of 85mm and a depth of 5mm, the standpipe inlet washer is manufactured for Vigil Products of a rubber nitrile for guaranteed quality and should be replaced during regular maintenance of your equipment.
Note: Suitable for single and double hydrant standpipes and not contractor standpipes.
