Barrier Fencing & Pins
Temporary worksites and construction projects are no reason to skimp on security and adaptability. To show site boundaries, manage queues, restrict unauthorised access, and mark out hazardous areas, you need a way to install fencing or barriers that is highly flexible, easy to secure, and reliable in whatever conditions you might face. Our range of Barrier Fencing and Pins can fulfil these needs with ease, providing both the fencing itself, and whatever you might need to fix it in place.
We supply a variety of barrier styles, from mesh fencing to plastic barrier chains and even reflective strips for placing over less obvious fencing. All of these options are designed with flexibility, durability, and visibility in mind, making them perfect for marking out areas of any size in a way that is unmissable and made to handle a range of harsh conditions.
We keep things simple when it comes to fixing these barriers in place. We primarily supply steel fencing pins that accommodate most of our fencing options perfectly, while some are more suited to being placed over any kind of pre-existing fencing to enhance its visibility.
Whatever you need, we’re ready to provide it at an unbeatable price and with next day delivery.
Matching the fencing to the fixing
Almost all of our barrier fencing options can be adequately secured with our steel fencing pins. These are highly durable and extremely easy to install (just hammer them into the ground). This is the perfect accompaniment to mesh or chain fencing, but it is still entirely fit for being used with high-visibility tape or other options.
Tapes and reflective strip-style barriers are more suited to taller, wider fencing that is already in place and would benefit from a visibility upgrade. This is why you may often see grey or black metal fences with striped tape wrapped around them. We also have ranging line, which is useful for marking out straight line boundaries. It is popular to secure ranging line with ground pegs, but our steel fencing pins will do just fine.
What if fencing pins won’t work?
It’s entirely possible that your site doesn’t allow for the installation of our steel fencing pins. This is most likely due to there being no ground nearby soft enough to hammer them in, but don’t worry! Many of our barrier fencing options do not require fencing pins to be set up. Our reflective fence strips, for example, come with built in eyelets and are supplied with cable ties. So as long as you have something you can tie them to, you’re good to go. And then there’s barrier tape as well, which you can simply stretch out across gaps to form the barrier you need.
Some of these options do, or at least may require something other than fencing pins; this might not even be because of the ground you’re working with. Traffic cones are the next best thing here, for which we have a wide range for you to browse separately. Many of the options you’ll find under Barrier Fencing and Pins, however, particularly our netted plastic fencing, require our steel fencing pins or a similar product, and traffic cones are not a suitable fixing option for them.
I’m not sure if you have the length of fencing I need?
Actually, we do! Looking at our netted barrier fencing, plastic barrier chains and barrier tape, you may feel we have a limited selection of length options. And maybe we do, and maybe you could end up using the full length, but not all in one go, or you need more than what we’re offering. That’s fine though, as most of our fencing solutions are easy to cut down to the length you need, and are equally, if not more easy to join together to form greater lengths.
Take the netted fencing as an example again. It can be cut easily with standard scissors, and even then, if the excess length isn’t too much, you may be able to account for it by simply wrapping it around the fencing pins. And then take the plastic chain fencing, which is extremely easy to connect to form larger fencing as part of our Post & Chain Barrier Kits.
So don’t worry if our length options don’t seem inherently suitable. These are standard measurements, and our barrier fencing is always designed with this kind of flexibility in mind.
