When you’re handling oil-soaked rags, you need a safe place to dispose of them in order to prevent fires. Oily Waste Cans are ideal for putting rags and cloths soaked with solvents, thinners, linseed oil, combustible adhesives and other flammable liquids.

When these are not properly discarded, they can present a serious fire risk caused by stray sparks or spontaneous combustion.

The lid opens to no more than 60 degrees, and will only open when a foot is placed on the pedal at the bottom. This isolates the contents from fire sources and limits oxygen to reduce the risk of combustion.

Their round construction and elevated base allow air circulation to disperse heat and reduces moisture build-up and rusting.
