Nittan EV-DPH-CS Dual Optical and Heat Detector

The Nittan EV-DPH-CS Dual Optical and Heat Detector will reduce false alarms with the combination of two dual sensor types for a more reliable method of detecting a fire in your premises. The combined dual detectors work together so it can reduce the likelihood of a false alarm, as well as generating alarm signals from both or either. Using patented technology featuring Infra-Red and blue LEDs to reduce false alarms which are commonly caused by steam and aerosols. It enables the detector to calculate the particle size, and therefore whether or not is smoke. This is the ideal choice for hotels, flats, hospitals, and multiple occupancy areas. The multi-sensor combines the benefits of both while the self-test function ensures it remains in good working order. Working with a CS fixed-temperature sensor (activating at 92°C, the optical sensor has a grey chamber and drift compensation which prevents slow environmental changes, like dust, affecting its performance. The Omni-view indicating light can be seen from any angle to give a visual indication of the addressable fire alarm system and allows installation of the low-profile detector in any orientation. This is the red ring you can see in the picture which only shines when activated or flashes to indicate it is still communicating with the control panel, although this is individually selectable. Install with a detector base (available separately), EV-DPH-CS detector will need addressing using a handheld programming tool and is only compatible with Nittan and Nittan protocol systems.
