We Are Hiring

Fire Protection Online is the leader in the new era of fire extinguisher supply and maintenance. Customers range from the NHS to McDonalds, Sainsbury’s to the BBC, Buckingham Palace to Google, along with most of the UK Fire Services, Councils and Government Departments.
Orders are received via our web site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. And delivered the next day from our warehouse in Canterbury, Kent to all corners and islands of the UK.
Along with extinguishers and their ancillary products, we supply smoke alarms, intumescent fire stopping, fire alarms, safety signage, escape ladders, evacuation equipment, first aid, and much more.
The fire extinguisher trade is changing. Our Easy Service Plans are shaking up the maintenance of fire extinguishers across the country.
We are looking to recruit Fire Extinguisher Service Engineers in Kent and the M25 areas. Preference will be given to individuals who already have knowledge of fire extinguisher servicing i.e. BFC, IFEDA, FIA or BAFE trained but additional training will be provided.
Do you want to be part of the new revolution? Imagine this;
  1. No pressure selling - our Thomas Glover 2kg CO2s sell for around £30
  2. No adding extra parts to the service - our prices include all parts, even the swivel horns
  3. No more refills and tests - other than water, our prices are so low, we replace with new
  4. Happy customers - if our customers don’t like their service, they don’t pay
  5. Customers that choose to use us - we have no contracts or cancellation terms
You will have a clean Driving License and have the ability to undertake daily manual handling. You will be confident in front of customers and have excellent presentation & communication skills.
The role will involve servicing fire extinguishers to the current British Standards and carrying out Fire Safety Audits to help our customers meet their legal requirements (not fire risk assessments).
We pay a very good salary, commensurate with experience. We do not pay commission on service work. We do, however, uniquely pay bonuses for high customer satisfaction. You will be supplied with a sign-written van and everything else needed to deliver an excellent service.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
