Where can I buy fire alarms?

Fire alarm kits are ideal if you're looking to upgrade your current fire alarm system. Or start from scratch at a new premises. We only sell safety equipment from trusted manufacturers who are recognised under the British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE) scheme. So you can be sure you're getting the best quality at the lowest prices.

What is the best fire alarm kit?

Our fire alarm kits all come with a C-Tec fire alarm panel – which we consider to be the best on the market. We then offer two choices of detector: C-Tec ActiV or Apollo series 65. Both are highly rated models which are effective at detecting smouldering fires caused by furnishings and cables.

C-Tec ActiV optical detectors are third-party certified to EN54-7 and IP42. Whilst Apollo series 65 optical detectors use advanced sensing technology to check for the presence of smoke. Whichever option you choose, you'll be getting reliable and long-lasting fire safety devices that are industry recognised.

Do I need an engineer to install my fire alarm kit?

According to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, fire alarm systems should be installed by a 'competent' person. However, we recommend having a certified engineer or electrician with ample experience install your fire alarm kit. Fire alarm systems are life-saving. So ensuring it is safe and fully functioning with all components linked correctly is essential.

Do fire alarm kits come with fixtures and fittings?

Our fire alarm kits do not include fittings or cables. This is because many engineers provide their own during installation. We do supply cables, clips and fittings that are fully compliant with the 18th Edition regulations. Our fittings are of the highest-quality as well as are quick and easy to install.
