The dry riser gate valve, equipped with a female BSP threaded inlet, is corrosion-resistant, tough and durable, and of course, manufactured in accordance with BS5041 Part 2. With a gunmetal construction which means it is suitable for onshore and offshore applications, together, these mean you can depend on this to form part of your dry riser system.
With a standard British Instantaneous female outlet, fire brigades can easily connect their layflat hosing to your system for quick emergency response. All of our dry riser gate valves are low-maintenance, come complete with a cap and chain to keep them free of dirt and rubbish, and feature a hand wheel to control the flow of water. They also benefit from a compact design and are hydrostatically tested to 16.5 bars and 22.5 bars.
Manufactured for Vigil Products, you’ll often find our wet and dry riser valves installed at major industrial locations, including marine, petrochemical, oil and gas, aviation, nuclear and waste recycling environments, as well as fire and rescue services. The inlet is a female BSP thread, measuring 2.5 inches (64mm), and with other inlet options available, you’ll find what you need to fit your specific system.
