The bracket is mounted to the floor using the supplied fixings, and pre-drilled holes for you to securely attach the main door holding unit.

Of sheet steel construction and powder coated white, once fixed to the floor it gives a solid surface to mount the magnet units, including acoustic battery and mains operated door holder. This means that even when there is no convenient wall to fix the holder, you can still provide easy access through a fire door, whilst ensuring it shuts if your fire alarm goes off.
