The wildfire rake features four sharp steel blades and is used for creating rake fire lines and cutting through roots and brush for general maintenance and wildfire control. Each V-shaped tine is serrated and made of a heat-treated steel and is attached to a long fibre glass handle, which is corrosion and rot resistant, enabling you to keep your distance.
Used to create a fire break, the fire rake is used to move undergrowth and loose surface debris. This allows you to rake burning material back into an already-burned area so it can be left to burn itself out and prevents the spread of flames.
With a removable head for ease of transportation to remote locations, the steel forestry rake head secured in place with a screw to ensure it stays in position when in use. Ideal for holiday parks, country walking routes, camp sites, farms and other outside spaces, the fire rake is ideal for tackling a small grass fire before it escalates in size and severity.
With a handy clip, available separately, making it easy to store and mount the wildfire rake, don’t forget to check out our complete range of wildfire equipment.
