To use the 9 litre water fire extinguisher for lithium batteries, first remove the safety pin, strike the knob on top with a fist, and then aim the extinguishing lance at the base of the flames, whilst using the pistol grip. The extinguishing lance allows the user to stand 4 metres away from the danger, whilst also offering an impressive discharge time of up to 80 seconds.
Suitable for factories, warehouses, rental facilities and shops which either have large quantities of smaller portable devices or with larger battery-powered devices such as e-bikes, e-scooters, drones, etc.
Types of fire include Class A (wood, paper, cloth, etc) and fires involving lithium-ion batteries up to 1285Wh, and pouches with a 700Wh capacity. Additionally, it’s safe if inadvertently sprayed on electricals up to 1000V.
