Cartridge-operated, this Gloria fire extinguisher is safe to use on batteries with a capacity of up to 642Wh, making it ideal for small and medium-sized portable devices, ranging from mobile phones and tools to hoverboards and small drones.
Containing a specialist water additive in a cartridge, and a special misting nozzle, these work together to effectively cool the flames and battery, whilst remaining fluorine-free. The extinguishing lance allows the user to stand 4 metres away from the danger, whilst also offering an impressive discharge time of up to 65 seconds.
With a fire rating of 21A, the 6 litre water fire extinguisher for lithium batteries is also CE Marked and has the BS EN3 Kitemark, as well as passing suitability testing for use on lithium-ion batteries. To use this extinguisher, first remove the safety pin, strike the knob on top with a fist, and then aim the extinguishing lance at the base of the flames, whilst using the pistol grip.
