The fluorine-free fire extinguisher works by creating a foam layer on the surface of flammable liquid fires to remove oxygen, which also ‘sticks’ to the surface of Class A materials to cool the fire, ultimately resulting in extinguishing the flames. Plus, when you use the extinguisher or dispose of it safely, you cause no harm to the environment as it is free of PFAS chemicals. Plus, when AFFF foam extinguishers are banned in the next few years, you’ll be well prepared.
