With the 2kg powder automatic fire extinguisher, you can ensure specific equipment or an unoccupied area is always protected from the risk of fire. Activated by extreme heat, this makes it the perfect choice for engine bays on boats and in other large vehicles, as well as storage rooms with at-risk materials or equipment.
Designed to be wall mounted, with the discharge facing down to ensure the full contents are released, the 2kg automatic extinguisher covers an area of 2.3 m2. Filled with ABC powder, the automatic fire extinguisher is CE Marked and UKCA approved and suitable for Class A, B, C and electrically started fires. The quartzoid bulb is designed to break when temperatures reach 79°C, which is plenty hot enough so you can be sure it doesn’t activate accidentally (although, it is best to ensure your extinguisher isn’t placed directly over a heat source).
Supplied with a wall mounting bracket as standard that will securely position your automatic powder extinguisher on the wall, ensure you position the discharge head facing down to be effective. However, you can also add the optional telescopic bracket, which means the automatic extinguisher can be positioned closer to the threat away from the wall, between 72cm and 120cm.
