The EN54 Approved power supply unit with switch mode is ideal for powering devices which perform mandatory functions of your fire alarm system requiring their own power supply. These include beam detectors, AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems, aspirating smoke detectors, sounder systems, and auto-dial communicators.

Manufactured by C-TEC, the BF560-24 PSU can be customised to suit your exact requirements, is certified to EN54-4, and has LPCB approval. Available with or without batteries for backup power, this requires two 12V, 3.2Ah SLA batteries, and features two selectable battery charge currents. Plus, in order to extend battery life, battery fault impedance limits can be optimised to suit load currents.

With mains fail simulation mode and a temperature sensor, the PSU has a status LED which indicates multiple faults through a series of flashes and a plastic cover to guard against electrocution. Including a single-pole volt-free changeover relay that switches for any fault condition, the 24V 1.5A power supply unit is IP30 rated for indoor use and complies with EN50131-6 grades 1-4 for security applications too.
