The 1.1m x 1.1m Fire Blanket from Thomas Glover is a perfect solution for dealing with small fires in your kitchen. This blanket provides the quickest and safest way to tackle small pan fires involving cooking fats and oils. It could also be used to shield yourself against these types of fires by wrapping it around your clothing (keep the size in mind for this).

As standard, this blanket comes stored within a hard case complete with dual straps for wall hanging. The case has printed instructions on it, which are easy to follow. The fire blanket itself is manufactured from a high-quality satin weave material with silicone coating on both sides. Just to assure you, it is quality and performance tested to BS EN 2019 standards, and has a 12-month warranty.

Functionally, the 1.1m x 1.1m fire blanket smothers the fire, preventing its spread and cutting off its oxygen supply so it can burn itself out.
