In the UK, dry powder extinguishers these days usually contain ABC powder or multi-purpose powder. The mess from the fire would be far, far greater so do not let this be a concern. It will clean up but do so quickly as it may affect certain metals when it gets damp.

All come supplied with a suitable wall mounting bracket for easy fitting but also take a look at our range of extinguisher stands in coloured composite and chrome. Powder fire extinguishers 4kg and above should be on the wall at one metre high or on fire stands and the 1kg and 2kg sizes should be 1.5 metres high.
