If you're looking for Christmas gifts with a little more spark for friends, family or colleagues, then why not give them something they will hopefully never need or use.
No, not more sock or smellies, but a fire safety product that will protect them for years to come. Our discount Christmas gift range has been chosen by our resident fire safety expert Jason to offer the best quality products at the most Santa-friendly prices.
We also offer great multi-buy discounts, so you can show your staff you care this Christmas for less. Order more than 10, and receive a generous discount, order over 100 and get a mega discount!
To help you choose your fire safety gifts more easily, we've grouped items as suitable for some fun personality types …
1. The PetrolHead
If you know someone who loves their car so much, they actually wax it themselves, then choose from three perfect gifts, all under £13 + VAT.
Our new 600g car fire extinguisher is perfect for a car or a motorbike, and its easy to use design also makes it easier to store in your vehicle. Filled with high grade BC powder, this neat fire extinguisher comes with a mounting bracket included and a 5-year warranty. (For larger peoplemovers or vans, choose our compact 1kg car fire extinguisher.)
Our squashy-bagged home and travel first aid kit is small enough to stow away in your car or van, but packed with all the items you'll need for minor accidents, including sterile dressings, bandages and disposable gloves.
Our sleek and smart LED ultra-power torch not only looks cool, but thanks to its LED lights, it stays cool to the touch too! Encased in waterproof aluminium, it's also tough enough for the road.
One more item: if your Petrolhead's garage is attached to their house, fumes from running engines can drift into their home. A strategically placed combined carbon monoxide and smoke alarm by the linking door will alert them to any dangerous fumes, and any fire originating in the garage.
2. The Terrible Cook
In fact, anyone with a kitchen should have a fire blanket to hand. Simple to use, a fire blanket is perfect for smothering small fires in saucepans or frying pans, or tea towels ignited by the stove. (OK, we've done that too...) A fire blanket is also an ideal present for a student living in rented accommodation, or for anyone with a caravan or holiday home. Our economy fire blanket has a low price but the high specification of the BS EN 1869:1997 standard.
The best sort of alarm for a kitchen is a mains heat alarm, since it is designed specifically for use in areas with lots of steam or particles.
3. The HomeLover
If your HomeLover likes nothing better than snuggling up with a glass beside an open fire, a combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarm makes an ideal present. The unique voice alert will announce if there is a problem, either triggered by smoke from the fire, or leakage of dangerous carbon monoxide gas, usually caused by a blocked flue.
This combined alarm is also suitable for any home with gas appliances, since faulty gas appliances can produce dangerous levels of CO very quickly. At just under £26 including VAT, it's also cheaper than buying separate smoke alarms and CO detectors (even at our prices).
4. The Zimmer Generation
For some older folk with mobility issues, installing a smoke alarm can seem daunting. So, why not really make their Christmas by giving them a smoke alarm or carbon monoxide alarm PLUS your time to come round, install it, show them how easy it is to use and reset, all aided by a good strong cup of tea. (To be honest, fitting most of our battery smoke alarms and CO alarms is really simple; they stick to the ceiling with two little pads, no screws required!)
Our smoke alarm with escape light can illuminate their route to safety in the event of a fire, and yet still runs from a battery - which is included. For the ultimate in 'put up and forget' smoke alarms, our 10-year battery smoke alarms from Kidde come in a handy twin pack, ready to fit.
So, do your Christmas gift shopping at Fire Protection Online this year, and give your loved ones and colleagues years of fire safety reassurance, at discount prices. Now, all you have to do is work out what you're going to give them next year...
NOTE - Deliveries sent out on Monday 23rd December will still arrive on Christmas Eve
