NOTE - this model has been replaced by the
hygenic fire and smoke seal (click the blue text to see the product) which is better as it has fire, smoke, draught and acoustic properties and no minimum order.
Intumescent fire, smoke and draught seals (see minimum order note below) fit into a rebate on the fire door or frame so that, when subject to heat, it expands to many times its size and fill the gaps with a flame-tight seal for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on size.
The draught seals differ from the smoke seals by having either a black single or twin rubber blades (see options) in place of the nylon brush. Each strip is 2.1 metres long and has an adhesive backing and is available in white or brown with other colours on request - grey, black, light brown, red or cream.
Note - there is a minimum order of 50 items of these strips.
