After a hectic year sorting out my new home, including new roofing, chimney repairs, replacement kitchen and cutting down a 50ft willow tree, I’ve finally reached the end of the ‘must do’ list, which reads “New flue”.

Berlin’s Tegal airport was engulfed in smoke on Thursday, as a wooden barracks in the military section of the airport caught fire.
